Mumii VIP Zoe was chosen to review a Muddy Boots Sleepover – to the delight of her 6-year-old daughter!
We were invited to review the Muddy Boots Sleepover. They have a choice of several different sleepovers from daytime ‘sleepovers’ to sleepover pamper parties with mini photo shoots. They also have four different themes. Each package includes four themed tents together with decorations for the room. My 6-year-old had lots of fun choosing which party she wanted and the themes – she chose a unicorn-themed pamper party. CJ, the owner of the company, designed the most amazing personalised party invitations to send to the guests. When my daughter saw them she said, “Is that really for me?”. They were really beautiful.
The review team was me and five girls, all aged 6 or 7, as well as the parents who came to look at the party set-up when they picked the girls up.
The tents and the party were set up by CJ. She arrived a couple of hours before the party and discussed how we were going to have it and the space that was needed. Then she took care of all the set-up. Having had a party at home before this was so simple and took all the stress out of preparing.
The set-up was absolutely brilliant. The theme was beautifully thought through and there was so much attention to detail with the cushions, soft toys, lights and other decorations. The set-up for the pamper session was amazing with mini silk gowns for the girls and individual pamper stations with mirrors, bowls and shell-shaped soap pumps. CJ stayed and talked through each stage of the pamper session and the girls were mesmerised. It was fantastic.
The following day, CJ came and packed everything away so there was minimal tidying up.
My daughter and her friends thought this was amazing. The looks on their faces when they saw the room was absolutely wonderful and they played in the tents for hours. At 6 and 7, they were a good age group but I think this would work for a few more years. Especially as they are at the younger age range for a sleepover. I asked my daughter if it was an amazing party and she said, “No, it’s the most amazingest amazing of all parties” – so I think she enjoyed it!
The tents were super comfortable – I can speak from first-hand experience as I accidentally fell asleep in one to keep them company and woke up the next morning! My daughter was so comfortable, the tent was taken down around her the next morning as she didn’t want to leave it.
For the next day, there were really cute little tray tables for the children to have their breakfast on.
It was definitely the easiest party I have ever done as between playing in the tents and the pamper session , the girls were occupied for all of the evening .
CJ is also a photographer and did a mini photo shoot. She took some lovely shots and it was also one less thing to think about so that you are not dashing around the party trying to capture everything.
You can also add sweets and other snacks.
I have wanted to do a sleepover party for a while and have looked at some options so I was really excited to test the Muddy Boots party. It more than met my expectations. It took very little planning as the invitations, party set-up and theme are all met by Muddy Boots, the tents and props are amazing quality and beautifully maintained (most are homemade and they are absolutely gorgeous). CJ is amazing to work with, she is brilliant with kids and all the girls loved her.
I would thoroughly recommend this to any parent. Given the amount that can be spent on children’s parties I thought this was really good value for money. This was also the feedback from other parents.
In summary, we are already planning our next party! Thank you Muddy Boots – you were fantastic.
Stress-free party set-up and tidy-up afterwards
