Stylish, comfy, safe and easy to clean! The phil&teds poppy goes from highchair to “my chair” and the waterproof, hypo-allergenic, seamless aerocore seat can even be put in the dishwasher.

The Poppy from phil&teds is another of those products which offers more than just a 'highchair'. The Poppy converts from a highchair into what phil&teds call a 'my chair' meaning that once your baby outgrows the highchair the seat isn't redundant and will last them up until about the age of 5 years old. There are so many combinations - with or without the tray - up high or down low. I like this functionality as some parents like to wean with their child at a lower level rather than necessarily at the kitchen table. The lower setting means the highchair can be placed at eye level whilst you sit on the sofa or chair. The Poppy is very well made and functional - it's wipe-clean seat is made from aerocore and is perhaps the most comfortable seat in this category. I love the fact that the tray 'wraps' around your child as we all know that weaning children can be a messy business. I love the comfort and flexibility this seat offers and at £89.99 it's good value for money.

A good quality highchair from a well known manufacturer, the Poppy is possibly the easiest highchair I have ever assembled. It takes minutes. The seat unit is a lovely material - like a squishy plastic - and can even go in the dishwasher. However as you cannot fold this highchair, it will not be ideal for small kitchens as it takes up a large amount of space. Very sturdy and with a lovely size tray.

The design and shape of the Poppy gives it a stylish look and comfort for my baby. I found the higher than normal height made feeding easier on my back as my baby was at more of an eye level. After feeding it was quick and easy to clean and great that the tray is removable. I found the straps very fiddly and stiff when I first put it together and when I tried to strap my baby in. I would rate this as a fairly basic highchair with few features that really stand out.
